Dr. Adama Gassama-Jallow (The Gambia) specializes in climate change, renewable energy and water resources management. Has a good background in renewable energy usage and water resources management and monitoring that relates to land use and climate change. She obtained a Masters Degree in Climate Change and Energy from the WASCAL Programme at Abdou Moumouni University in Niamey, Niger and a Ph.D. in Climate Change and Water Resource from the WASCAL Programme at Abomey Calavi University in Benin. She also writes technical papers on climate change/climate variability, renewable energy and on water resources.
Role in the project: Dr. Adama Gassama-Jallow is in charge of supervising literature and data collection on renewable energy during the Feasibility Study. She ensures that the data collected are accurate and up-to- date.
